SEASONAL SNOW REMOVAL SERVICE AGREEMENT & TERMS

PREMIUM WINTER PROTECTION GUARANTEE

Thank you for choosing Snow Troops for your winter property care. Our mission is to keep your property safe, accessible, and hazard-free all winter long. By enrolling, you receive priority automated service from November 1 through April 1.

1. PROMISE OF SERVICE & SCOPE

1.5-Inch Priority Trigger: Snow removal operations automatically deploy as soon as fresh accumulation reaches 1.5 inches on your property, based on regional weather tracking.

Continuous Seasonal Monitoring: Our dedicated storm teams track local weather 24/7. During extended storms, we provide continuous monitoring and return clearings as needed to keep your pathways passable.

Comprehensive Coverage Areas: Every service visit includes:

Main driveway clearing.
Front walkway and main public sidewalk path leading to the front door.
Front porch landing and primary entryway steps.

Property Staking Included: To ensure maximum precision and protect your lawn during heavy plowing, our team will professionally install high-visibility, reflective snow stakes along your driveway boundaries at no additional charge.

2. PAYMENT OPTIONS & AUTOMATED BILLING

Option A: One-Time Full Season Payment. Paid in full at signing for complete winter coverage.

Option B: 5-Month Equal Installment Plan. Total seasonal service costs are broken down into 5 manageable monthly payments:

Deposit / Payment 1: Charged immediately upon signing to lock in your spot on our priority route.
Payments 2 through 5: Processed automatically on the same day of each subsequent month for 4 additional cycles (ending automatically April 1).

Terms: Installment plans represent a full 5-month seasonal contract commitment. Early cancellations, chargebacks, or defaulted card payments do not relieve the account balance owed for the contracted winter season. Payments are non-refundable once the season begins.

3. PROPERTY PREPARATION & CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

To help us deliver seamless, damage-free service, the customer agrees to maintain the following property conditions:

Clear Access: Driveways, walkways, and porches must remain clear of parked vehicles, extension cords, garden hoses, trash cans, holiday decorations, and outdoor toys.

Driveway Markers: Reflective snow stakes installed by the company must remain intact and undisturbed throughout the season.

4. COMPLETE BUSINESS PROTECTION & LIABILITY WAIVER

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the customer agrees to the following operational liability boundaries:

Unmarked & Pre-Existing Obstructions: Company is not liable for damage to hidden items beneath snow accumulation, or un-staked landscaping, turf, sod, irrigation heads, low-hanging tree branches, curbs, paver edges, or pre-existing degraded concrete/asphalt.

Parked Vehicles & Obstructions: Company drivers are strictly instructed not to plow within 3 feet of parked vehicles or personal property to prevent damage. Bypassed obstructed areas will be cleared on the next regular pass once obstruction is moved.

Ice Hazards & Slippery Surfaces: Snow plowing and shoveling lower snow volume but do not guarantee bare, dry pavement or eliminate underlying ice. Company is strictly exempt from liability for personal injury, property damage, or slip-and-fall claims resulting from natural ice formation, freezing rain, drifting snow, or post-clearing freeze/thaw cycles. (Optional de-icing/salting available upon request).

City / Municipal Snow Banks: Municipal street plows frequently pile snow back across driveway entrances (windrows) after property clearing. Secondary return clears for municipal plow banks are scheduled after main routes are completed and may incur a standard return trip charge unless enrolled in a municipal clearing add-on.

Extreme Weather & Severe Conditions: During state-declared emergencies, extreme blizzards, driving bans, severe fuel/equipment disruptions, or acts of God, operations will prioritize emergency access routes until conditions allow safe residential servicing.
